PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN IN DONEGAL is an organization of women within the congregations of the Presbytery who subscribe to the Purpose: Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit we commit ourselves: To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, to support the mission of the Church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God's Kingdom. All women are welcome and it is not necessary that your congregation has an organized group. If you or the women of your church are interested or desire more information, contact the Moderator of PW.
Presbyterian Women in the Presbytery of Donegal adopted this Mission Statement in 1997 - We, the Presbyterian Women of Donegal Presbytery, strive to model a Christ-centered life as we join together spiritually in Bible Study, Mission, and Fellowship. As we further develop this sense of community, caring, and understanding among women of ALL ages, we urge them to use their God given resources throughout the Presbyterian Church (USA).
