Info About OpportunityPine Grove and Hopewell Presbyterian churches are seeking a Full time Pastor for Shared Ministry who is inspired to compassionately serve two small-community churches with a deeply rooted mission to “gather people to the promises of God in Christ” through worship, fellowship…” local outreach and support of the broader world-wide mission of the church. The churches are located in Southern York County, Pennsylvania, surrounded by a scenic and serene countryside. While rural, the community is conveniently located within driving distances to cities of York, Lancaster and Baltimore. There is also easy access to many local parks and recreational areas. It would be a privilege to welcome a new pastor into our congregations to partner with us in continuing to build upon our rich heritage as we journey with faith and hope into our future service in Christ. Priority will be given to Presbyterian (PCUSA) Teaching Elders, or ministers from a Formula of Agreement denomination. Other ordained ministers may be considered as appropriate. Compensation will be negotiated from the Presbytery of Donegal minimum effective salary. Benefits are negotiable depending upon the situation and mileage reimbursement is included at the standard IRS rate. The position will be negotiated with the Session, in consultation with the Donegal Presbytery's Connecting our Ministries Commission.
