Festival of Worship

Donegal Presbytery Festival of Worship

Welcome to the Donegal Presbytery Festival of Worship!  We are delighted to worship together. Each Sunday from June 28, 2020 – September 13, 2020 one of our congregations is hosting online worship for the presbytery. All other congregations are invited to join that church for worship that week. This is a great way to connect as a presbytery as we join together in worship. It is a terrific way to handle the Sundays when a pastor is off for vacation or study leave. It benefits the congregation on weeks where the pastor focuses on other responsibilities, too.

Size of the church doesn’t matter! Many of our churches have discovered ways to offer online worship since the start of the pandemic. Distance doesn’t matter! We will be able to visit many of our congregations without needing to drive! Offerings are not impacted! All our churches have discovered ways to receive offerings online or by mail. Pulpit supply is covered! This helps when getting the pulpit filled is far more difficult.

How Do We Sign Up to Attend Worship with the Host Congregation? How Will We Get the Information?

To register your congregation to attend on your chosen Sundays, simply fill out the SurveyMonkey form below. This will let the presbytery and the host congregation know you are planning to join them and allow your congregation to be greeted by name. If you need to have your congregation join at the last minute and have not signed up, that is fine too. If we hear from you, we will let the host congregation know and ask them to greet and welcome your congregation.
